Frozen Food

Smart has one of the largest frozen food sections in the islands. There are four freezers each 32 metres long and 40 metres of fridge space.

The display of food available is astounding to say the least. The variety is unimaginable. The area is well spaced and you can easily move about with your trolley whilst choosing the items that you require. Everything is placed in easily defined areas and you can move logically from one side to the next choosing the goods needed

It would be nearly impossible to list everything, however the following list can give you an idea of what you can find in the freezers in the centre of the area (deep freeze):

• Frozen vegetables (mixed, carrots, peas, etc)

• Ready made pizzas

• Sausages (chicken, pork & beef)

• Frozen fish and steak fish
• Frozen meat cuts
• Chicken Nuggets
• Chicken pieces (drumsticks, breasts etc)
• Frozen Chinese and Asian food
• Ice creams (individuals and tubs)
• Frozen packaged cakes (tiramisu, fruit tarts)

In the fridges nearby you can find chilled items which would normally require to be put in the fridge but not deep frozen like the items above. Some of the main items you can find here are:

• Butter and margarine
• Vacuum packed cheese
• Sliced cheese
• Salami (whole and sliced)
• Luncheon meat and ham (vacuum packed)
