Deli Assistant

Smart Supermarket is one of Malta's leading supermarkets with an already established client base. Due to our increased business activity and continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual for the role of Deli Assistant.

Brief Description of the Role:

• Assist customers with selecting deli products such as cold cuts, cheeses, and other items.
• Prepare and serve deli meats and cheeses to customer specifications.
• Ensure all deli products are properly stored, rotated, and displayed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic deli counter.
• Handle food safely and follow health and safety guidelines.
• Assist in managing inventory and restocking deli items as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer questions about products.

Requirements include:

• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Fluent in both Maltese and English.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Full-Time Maintenance Staff/ Labourer

SMART SUPERMARKET is one of Malta’s leading  supermarkets with an already established client base. As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking to recruit dynamic, and highly motivated individuals for the post of full-time Maintenance staff/ Laborer

Duties will include :

1. Performs physical labour tasks, such as lifting and moving materials.
2. Paining, plastering and removing of tiles.
3. Cleans and maintains work areas, tools, and equipment.
4. May operate basic machinery or equipment, such forklifts.
5. Follows safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements for this post:

·         Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

·         Proven maintenance experience.

·         Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.

·         Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saw and drills.

·         Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.

·         Experience performing routine maintenance.

·         Ability to maintain focus while working individually.

·         Communication skills

·         Good spoken and written English
